Responsibilities

Analyst/Programmer-Expert provides lead development support for PeopleSoft Student Administration system, and other ancillary systems as assigned. The position will be expected to demonstrate leadership at the expert-level in development, research, operations and administration. The position will serve in a lead role for implementing, upgrading, maintaining and developing business process efficiencies which have a campus-wide impact. This position may lead one or more Programmer/Analysts or Information Technology Consultants for the duration of a project. This position will play a key role in decision making, policy development and the management of high-risk, high-impact projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor degree in a computer related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years of experience in applications planning, design, development and support using PeopleTools Application Designer.
Five years experience with relational databases.
Experience with Windows and internet technology.
Demonstrated ability to translate needs analysis data into detailed technical designs.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team project environment.
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred qualifications:

Extensive experience with SQL, JavaScript, Visual Basic, VBScript, .NET, ASP, HTML, XML, CSS, Unix and COBOL.
Extensive experience with PeopleSoft Student Administration software.
Master’s Degree in a computer related field.
